With the encouragement of friends and past partners, I’m launching my very own business — I’m a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) educator/consultant for hire.
I have a decade of professional experience in the informal STEM education space, working for two non-profits that specifically focused on girls’ needs in STEM. Prior to that, I was a classroom teacher for gifted and talented elementary students in my local public school district.
I’ve trained hundreds of adults in best facilitation practices for making STEM accessible and exciting for youth, and written curriculum and designed pilot projects from concept to conclusion.
I bring all of that expertise to work for you. Tell me about your project, and I will customize an approach to suit your timeframe and your budget. STEM on a shoestring budget is for real!
Looking for advice about where to start conceptualizing your project needs? I’m happy to talk with you, and the National Afterschool Association gives this advice for finding a consultant to suit your scope.
